Protect Babies Born-Alive During Abortions From Infanticide!
U.S. House of Representatives members have an opportunity to take a stand against infanticide by signing a discharge petition to force pro-abortion Nancy Pelosi to allow the House to vote on HR619, the Born-Alive Abortion Survivors Protection Act.
If passed, this bill would require an abortionist to treat a baby who accidentally survives an abortion with the same level of life-sustaining care they would provide to a child born premature, rather than kill or neglect the child.
Every year, we know that viable infants survive horrific abortion procedures.
According to estimates from the pro-choice Guttmacher Institute, about 12,000 abortions take place after viability, when a child can live outside his or her mother’s womb. This means there are more post-viability abortions each year than gun homicides, according to the most recent FBI estimates!
Less than 10% of Americans support abortion in the last 3 months of pregnancy and refusing medical care to babies born during abortions. Sadly, that 10% seems to be all of the Democratic leaders in Congress.
